We had a nice relaxing Christmas day. After opening gifts and eating cinnamon rolls we just watched movies and ate a nice Christmas dinner. Nathan and Brooklyn got scooters and Jacee got a phone and clothes and stuff. Ava got a nice recliner and some puppies. She calls anything resembling an animal a puppy. Except for our cat which she calls "cat." She likes her chair but really only shows she cares about it when when somebody else sits in it. Brooklyn seemed to like the little things like lip gloss and bracelet in her stocking. Nathans favorite was the mini fridge. He said he is probably the only kid who got a fridge for Christmas and he may be right. It is already stocked with eggnog, juice and candy. Jacee didn't get an Xbox but he may have gotten a good lesson of "be happy with what you got." Nathan didn't get a motor scooter but in case you didn't hear "He got a fridge!" Brooklyn would have been happy with lip gloss and cinnamon rolls. Ava would have been happy with nothing at all. But I hope we are all grateful for each other, for our little, big growing family.
