First Day of 6th Grade and 2nd Grade

The first day of school. Nathan treated today just like any other day, no worries for him. His teacher Mrs. Lett seems very nice and Nathan has reported to me that she is the best teacher he has ever had. We will see if he feels the same next week. His best buddy Christian has been gone for a month in Samoa, and is finally home again. We found out they are in the same class, so he is pretty excited about that.

Jacee would only let me take one picture because of course that is embarrassing. Him and his friend Kirk walked to the bus stop this morning at 6:40 a.m. Wow that is early for me! He said he had a good day he was only mad about the amount of time they had to eat lunch. They had little Caesar's pizza and watermelon for one of the choices but he said by the time he waited in line and sat down the bell rang so he had to shove it in his mouth. I guess he will have to learn to be quick. He only likes one teacher so far, but I met all of them and they all seem really great so far. I am sure he will be fine, I'm just a little nervous for him. He has 6 periods with classrooms all over the school and he has to pack his backpack all day, no lockers. If you want to see his school check out their website: http://fri.washk12.org/ Nathan's school website is http://res.washk12.org/
