It seems kind of strange to go on a field trip to a farm when you grew up where I did, but these kids really seemed to enjoy it and maybe even need it. They told the kids how everything we eat comes from some sort of farm and how important farming is. Nathan was mostly sneezing through the corn maze because of allergies but that didn't stop him from playing in it and rubbing it all over himself and shaking the stalks. They also had a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, a wagon ride, a corn slide, a redneck trampoline (an old mattress), and a variety of different cows. Brooklyn was amazed with the sheep, goats, bunnies and the lama. In fact she kept calling the lama a horsie. I think you can tell from the pictures how happy she was. Maybe for Christmas we will buy her a pony. Not. She would stick her little hand through the fence and say "Cmer" meaning come here, and as soon as they got near her she would run.
